“Josh and I have split up,” announced a tearful Jeraldine Blackman in a social media post on February 21, 2025.
Jeraldine and Josh of the Blackman Family have been giving joy to their many followers for several years now. A real-life couple based in Australia, they share snippets of daily life with their two children, Jette and Nimo. Jeraldine, who is a Filipina, has proudly shared her heritage with her family and their followers. Just last year, their family went back and forth from the Philippines to Australia to visit family and even meet up with their Filipino fans.
In her post, Jeraldine can be seen inside her car, crying as she addressed their millions of followers.
Despite this, Jeraldine maintained that they are on good terms and only had good things to say about Josh. She went on to share how Josh has been a great dad and friend.
“We’re good friends. I just know that he is a good person and he is the best father that Jette and Nimo could ever have,” she said. “Josh was the one who introduced me to Christian life. He was the one who made me become like this, and without him…”
“I’m just so lucky that Jette and Nimo have him,” she continued, reiterating how great a father Josh is to their two kids and he will continue to be part of their lives. “We are going to be co-parenting.”
Millions of fans have been following their family on social media, and Jeraldine took the opportunity to thank them and also apologize to all who have shown them support all these years.
“To everyone out there who has supported the Blackman family, thank you so much,” said Jeraldine. “I’m so sorry.”
“We have a lot of you guys who love us so much, who love the Blackman family so much. Thank you so much for all of the support that you have given us for the last three years. It’s been amazing. Its been one of the best,” she continued. “Thank you for loving the Blackman family and for taking us in your lives.”
The post went on for a couple more seconds before it ended. In the comment section, fans admitted that they thought it was just a prank and that the video would show Jeraldine clearing it up or saying it was just a joke. Unfortunately, her message ended with just that: a confirmation of the breakup of a much-loved family
